I often hear potential customer comment during the estimate phase of a project ” I’ve never had to use a Tree Service before, and have no idea how this works.”
Well, I will attempt to explain. After receiving initial contact from the potential customer I will reply by phone, email, or text their preferred form of communication to briefly discuss their Tree Service needs, next we setup a convenient time to meet to do a walk-thru.
During this walk-thru we discuss your Tree Removal, Trimming, Stump Grinding needs for a few minutes. After this meeting I will thank you for your time,take a few minutes to walk around alone to take a closer look at your project to determine the equipment needed, and the estimated time to complete your project.
After that I will email the customers quote to them usually within 24 hours.. You can expect me to take up about 10-15 minutes of your time for this process. Now that was easy wasn’t it?
Now lets move along to cost. The cost will depend upon several factors. Proximity to structures, power lines, access, and the tree size. Smaller trees, around $250-$350, medium size trees $400-$750, and larger tree $750-$1800.
Don’t let those number frighten you! The price is discounted depending upon the number of trees that you want removed, and we normally include the Stump Grinding in these prices also.
Individual Stump Grinding prices are as follows. Small stumps $75, medium $100, and large $100, and up depending upon the size. Also discounted depending upon the number or stumps being removed.
I hope this post has been helpful. Most estimate processes are about the same. The pricing can vary greatly. Most people get at least a couple of estimates. You will find that our prices usually fall somewhere in the average to medium price range.
